HYMN CXXXV
A priest’s fulmination against an enemy 1. Whate’er I eat I turn to strength, and thus I grasp the Thunder- bolt, Rending the shoulders of that man as Indra shattered Vritra’s neck. 2. I drink together what I drink, even as the sea that swallows all. Drinking the life-breath of that man, we drink that man and swallow him. 3. Whate’er I eat I swallow up, even as the sea that swallows all. Swallowing that man’s vital breath, we swallow him completely up.
